We rolled out a series of Jamaican barrels this year, ranging from 15 yrs to an eye-popping 27yr old New Yarmouth. Funk City in this lineup with full strength, unfiltered in any way, high proof Jamaica rum.

It spent the first 24 years of life in the Caribbean heat in American Oak barrels. It was re-barreled in October 2018 and shipped to Europe where it spent the last couple of years of its life before being brought to Texas.
Older does not always mean better and over the years we have rejected casks as old as 36 yrs and have never found one that spoke to us, until now.

A tremendous aged example and a unique expression from a wonderful island, known for funk. We added several more Jamaica offerings from distilleries like Clarendon and more. Ranging from 15yr to 17yr. Clarendon is known for their month-long wooden vat fermentation that yields a Jamaican funk like no other.
