Mark Ryan Winery, Numbskull 2018, Walla Walla Valley was created to explore the character of the Valley through a dense, supple blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec. More generous with fruit and tamer in its structure than wine from other sites in Red Mountain, Walla Walla displays a truly unique aromatic and flavorful profile. Red and black cherries and raspberries come through on the nose and palate, mingling with subtle notes of dark chocolate, toasty oak, and vanilla. Velvety tannins and a rich, full mouthfeel create layered complexities and a lasting finish.
