Avuá Cachaça Copan

Discover the result of a unique collaboration between Avuá and the master distillers of Hardy Cognac. The Copan Special Edition is a rare experiment in wood management, strictly limited to a production run of just 600 bottles. The spirit begins its journey resting for over a year in casks made from rare tapinhoã wood, absorbing distinct notes of toasted coconut and fresh pine. To deepen the complexity, the liquid is then finished for nine months in large, wet Hardy Cognac barrels.

This dual-aging process creates a rich, layered flavor profile that stands apart from traditional cachaças. The influence of the cognac cask adds a sophisticated depth that complements the native Brazilian wood. Because of its scarcity and complex character, this bottle is best enjoyed neat or poured over a single large ice cube to allow the aromas to open up slowly.
