A Vodka Club is a membership that delivers a full-sized bottle (or several) to your door regularly, usually monthly or quarterly. For example, with Taster’s Club, you’ll receive a full-sized bottle once a month. We also offer a 3-pack option, so you’ll receive three bottles at once- no need to wait! Vodka is a liquor made from fermented grains or vegetables. The main ingredient used to create the base spirit affects the overall flavor and experience, and while most vodka is made from fermented grains like sorghum, corn, rice, rye, or wheat, it can also be made from potatoes, fruits, or even just sugar. You might be interested to know that vodka has the lowest percentage of fats and carbs, compared to other alcoholic beverages such as beer, whiskey, or rum. So if you’re calorie-conscious, you can enjoy this spirit guilt-free!

Have you heard that vodkas are supposed to be odorless and tasteless? Nonsense! Premium, high-quality vodkas feature all kinds of delicious flavor profiles, adding a spice or a sweetness to your favorite cocktails. Grain-based vodkas tend to be smooth and creamy, while rye-based vodkas have a more spicy flavor profile. Potato-based vodkas are oily in body, and corn-based vodkas offer a sweet and balanced flavor. We’ve even featured a vodka made from apples, which was quite a treat for our Vodka Club members! Each distillery we work with has a unique story to share, and we’re continually impressed with the passion and craftsmanship that goes into each of their products. Every selection is accompanied by a Digital 101, so you can learn all about the distillery, the bottle, why we chose it, and recommendations on how to drink it. The ingredients used for producing vodka include starch or sugar first. The other ingredients include yeast and water, and maybe other flavors. Once the initial ingredients are chosen, they’re combined, heated, and mashed before being fermented for a week or two. After fermentation, vodka makers strain off the liquid from the fermented solids and use the liquid (ethanol) to make vodka. During the distillation process, the liquid is heated and vaporized, then the vapors are collected and recondensed into a liquid. This is an important step because it helps get rid of any impurities. After distillation, other flavors may be added, such as herbs, fruits, grasses, and spices. The ethanol product that contains methanol or acetone is discarded, leaving the best part of the distillate, ready for filtering and diluting to the desired alcohol content. Finally, the product is ready to be bottled and labeled. 

We always recommend that you begin by sipping the vodka straight so you can fully appreciate the beverage’s depth and intensity. Begin by chilling the vodka- it won’t freeze as water does, so you can even place it in the freezer. To sip it straight, pour your chilled vodka into a shot glass, about ¾ full, and sip it slowly. Swirl it gently in your glass, take in the aroma and savor the taste on your tongue. If the drink is too harsh, add some water or ice to the glass to dilute it slightly.

If you prefer to drink vodka in a cocktail, that’s also an excellent choice. Vodka makes a fantastic base for a myriad of cocktails like a Screwdriver, a Vodka Martini, a Cosmopolitan, or a Bloody Mary. We send lots of cocktail ideas in your monthly Digital 101, so be sure to check it out.

We currently ship to 45 of the lower 48 states in the continental US. We don’t currently ship to the following states: Alaska, Hawaii, Kentucky, Utah, or Mississippi. Currently, we only ship within the continental US.

Monthly Subscriptions: We ship twice each month. If you make your order before the 4th of the month, your full-sized bottle is shipped between the 5th and the 15th of every month. If your order is made after the 5th, your first bottle will be shipped out between 18-25 of the month. We’ll email tracking information once your shipment is scanned in by the carrier, and you’ll receive your bottle within 3 to 5 business days of that date.

Bottle Shop: Our vendors usually require 1-5 business days to prepare your Bottle Shop order, but shipping times might vary according to your delivery address and availability of the items in your order. We’ll always email your tracking details that include an estimated delivery date once it’s left our warehouse. Keep in mind that if you order multiple items, such as a Bottle Shop purchase and a Monthly Alcohol Subscription, they may ship separately.If a shipment will be late due to external reasons or inclement weather, we’ll keep you updated via email. If you are unavailable during the estimated date of delivery, please reach out to us at info@tastersclub.com to make other arrangements.

Yes, we work with most national and regional carriers, all of which require an adult over the age of 21 to sign for the delivery. We recommend shipping to a workplace if you won’t be home.

Once you complete your checkout there will be a confirmation email sent to your email with details about your purchase.

When the shipment is ready to leave our warehouse, we’ll email the gift recipient a tracking number. Shipments usually take 3 to 5 business days to arrive, and deliveries are typically made during business hours.

If there’s a delay due to carrier issues or inclement weather, we’ll send the gift recipient an email with info on when to expect their shipment.

No problem. If you want to switch or extend your membership type, you can do so through your membership profile after you sign up. If you’d like to renew, simply send us an email at info@tastersclub.com, and we’ll help you out.

The date that your membership is created will be the date of your first charge. The following month, your billing date will be the 28th of each month.
