A legacy literally born in secrecy, this mezcal pays homage to Silverio’s father, Don Lencho, who ingeniously hid his distillation methods using a hollowed-out quiote to avoid military confiscation during mezcal's prohibition era.

Jabalí is a temperamental and challenging agave varietal, notorious for the foam (caused by naturally occurring saponins) generated during every stage of production. Its demanding process requires about 55 pounds of raw Jabali­ agave to produce just one liter of mezcal, resulting in exceptionally low yields. For this Ancestral Limited Edition, only 100 liters were made, making it a truly rare collector's item.
