Peated whisky is not my favorite thing but I must say this dram is in a world of its own. The peat is there on the nose and mild on the retronasal experience. The expression evolves away from the peat into vanilla and citrus notes which I found very unique and pleasing. Knowing that the distillery was recently shuttered again I went on line and bought 2 more bottles so I can have some around for friends, etc. I visited the distillery a few years ago and found all of the expression very pleasing so I have a minimum of 2 to 3 bottles of the Reviva, 12 year and Port Soy.
