H.K. Young Bourbon Co. Toasted Wheated Bourbon

Built on a 7-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon foundation, this expression explores how toasted oak transforms a wheated mashbill into something extraordinary. We worked with our partners at Independent Stave Company to finish this blend in two custom barrels: a Medium+ Toasted American Oak Barrel and a Medium Toast "Wave Stave" American Oak Barrel, each seasoned for over 18 months to let the wood's character fully develop. That patience pays off in the glass, where notes of vanilla and raspberry pastry open into buttercream frosting, warm spice, and dark chocolate.
