The namesake brand quickly became the number-one-selling Bourbon whiskey in the state of Kentucky. Still today, the craftsmanship poured into this bottle by the same founding family meets the exacting standards first set forth in the Bottled-in-Bond act of 1897.

Definitely a bottle that deserves a spot on the shelf (or maybe two or three spots!). Rich in color and very pleasing on the nose, it has a strong but smooth flavor and a lingering finish that almost seems to ask for another pour. It really seems to embrace everything good about a well aged, flavorful straight Kentucky bourbon.
