Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Whisky is distilled at Pulteney Distillery in Wick, on the shores of north-eastern Scotland.

Produced by hand-crafted single malt whiskies and age them next to the sea, thereby giving them an unmistakable coastal character. Their story is inseparable from the sea and the bountiful opportunities it brought – forever intertwined not only with our maritime climate but with the community, heritage and spirit of our coastal home of Wick.

They use American oak and Spanish oak casks on site in both traditional dunnage and racked warehouses where low temperature scales, high humidity and the surrounding sea air, shape the maturation, helping to give our whisky its unmistakable coastal character.

This smoky Single Malt from Old Pulteney is named after the street where the distillery resides. Richly warming, this single malt embraces a mellow smoky character, whilst very much Old Pulteney at its heart. The combination of influence from the salt-infused sea air and the peat smoke make for a whisky with real character, depth and identity. With a richness extending into its rich gold color, this single malt offers much in terms of complexity and flavor while subtly reminding us of the place where Old Pulteney began.
