Opus One Overture 2022

First introduced in 1993, Overture has long been an expression of our estate across time. Now, for the first time, Overture is offered as a vintage-dated wine. This renewed focus on a specific growing season allows us to emphasize the unique diversity and character of our vineyards.

Under the guidance of winemaker Michael Silacci, our team meticulously cares for each block of our estate, adjusting farming practices to capture the distinct quality of the land. Harvested primarily from the alluvial soils at the foot of the Mayacamas mountains in western Oakville, the fruit for the 2022 Overture was vinified with the same precision and detail as Opus One.

The result is a wine with a distinct profile, selected for its unique aromatics, flavors, and textures. Expect notes of red fruit and herbal characteristics, all brought together by soft tannins and a luxuriously creamy texture. The 2022 Overture is a singular expression of a remarkable vintage and a testament to the art of winemaking.
