Savage & Cooke Cask Finished Rye Whiskey

Savage & Cooke Cask Finished Rye Whiskey represents a deep commitment to local agriculture and precise craftsmanship. Every grain used in this spirit is grown within 50 miles of the distillery, the result of direct partnerships with local farmers who adhere to exact specifications. The mash bill features a robust rye backbone, balanced by corn and malted barley, creating a complex foundation before the spirit ever touches a barrel.

Distilled in a 24-inch Vendome Copper & Brassworks column still, the whiskey is aged for a minimum of three years in hand-crafted White American Oak Char #3 barrels. This careful aging process takes place on-site, leveraging distinct environmental conditions to mature the spirit. To create its signature profile, the rye undergoes a final finishing stage in Dave Phinney’s Grenache barrels. This two-month resting period imparts unique texture and depth, resulting in a whiskey that is both bold and sophisticated.
