The Tatomer Grüner Veltliner is one of three small picks off of the John Sebastiano Vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills, and to Graham, it represents the best of the best. Grown on steep slopes 800 feet above sea level, this wine has extreme cut and verve. Starting in 2015, a portion of this wine was kept in the winery longer and bottled separately. The main reason for this is that this pick shows remarkable texture, a telltale sign of the wine's age worthiness. It is the first of his Grüner Veltliners to receive extended aging in the winery and is well worth the wait.
