Wolves The Malted Barley Series Black Leather 7 Year Single Malt

Introducing Lot One of the Malted Barley Series, the first single malt expression from Wolves. This exclusive release begins with two-row pale malted barley, fermented with California Ale yeast for a distinctively rich foundation. Distilled in 2015 using an antique alambic brandy still, the spirit was then aged for seven years across twelve carefully selected barrels. These barrels featured a range of oak treatments, from light toast to Char 3, with alternating Hungarian and American oak heads to impart complex layers of flavor. For this expression, eleven of the twelve barrels were masterfully blended together and bottled at a robust 110 proof, resulting in a truly exceptional and unique single malt.
