2. Tanqueray No. Ten Gin

Tanqueray No. Ten is named after the stills from which it came. This balanced, juniper-forward, small-batch gin is crafted with fresh citrus fruits and eight botanicals and tastes amazing with premium tonic water and a slice of pink grapefruit. Aside from juniper, you’ll notice notes of grapefruit, lime zest, orange, lemon, peppercorn, and licorice. The spirit finishes fairly warm and long, with faint notes of citrus and earth.

4. Sipsmith London Dry Gin

Sipsmith London Dry Gin was launched in 2009, distilled on London’s first copper still in almost 200 years. This rich, complex gin is single-shot distilled (only diluted with water) and comes from a wheat base spirit and traditional botanical ingredients: coriander, angelica, and licorice. On the nose, you’ll get honey, orange zest, juniper, licorice, and angelica root. Then, you’ll taste notes of juniper pine, lemon, mandarin, and citrus. The drink finishes long and spicy – with cinnamon, coriander, and pepper – along with creamy licorice, orange, and juniper.

Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin features a whopping 47 botanicals and a base spirit of molasses. The complex gin has aromas of menthol, juniper, sage, lemon, pineapple, rose, lavender, lime, and hibiscus. Once you taste it, notice herbal, minty notes of juniper, lavender, blackthorne, and spruce, followed by peppery, vegetal notes. The finish is oily, herby, minty, lemony, peppery, and fruity.
