This gin is a new release from Masahiro Shuzo, a prominent awamori distiller from Okinawa. Lighter on citrus than other Japanese gins we have tried recently, this spirit borrows heavily from bitter fruits, foliage, and peppers. It's overall fairly dry with a pleasant juicy, fruity finish. Excellent pick for a martini or gin and tonic.
