The Grenachista 2016 Sonoma Valley Grenache Noir is a fresh, lively dark ruby wine with incredible aromas and flavors. The density of fruit and cheesecake aromas are the first to hit the nose, followed by maraschino cherry, Chinese five spices, violets, and lily. It’s full of black fruit and cherry, root beer, and hard candy that leads to the abundant tannins on the pallet. This expression is made from Grenache grapes grown on the Mathis Vineyard, 7-acres on a rocky hillside above the Sonoma Mission Inn.
